Along with this we had some other fun things going on.

CJ made his first whole meal for everyone Tuesday evening. He served an egg casserole that he made, hash browns and peaches. The egg casserole was really good and we enjoyed it.

Doug and Austin took apart a CD player that doesn't work anymore and checked out the inner workings, looking at the electronic components.

Amanda and I were listening to NPR Talk and got to discuss SOPA as well as the sinking of the cruise ship in Italy. So much learning comes from simply listening and observing what is going on around us and discussing what interests us.

Wednesday evening was our usual church evening, beginning with a church dinner, than a short worship service and then classes for all ages.

Both Austin and Amanda had friends here this week that they enjoyed spending time with.

So these, along with our busy day Monday, are  some of the highlights of our week.

  1. I like the fact that they took apart the cd player. I think my son would love to do that too. In fact, I think he has. I think your little one did a great job with breakfast...maybe he could give my kids a chat. My oldest will start breakfast, but I usually end up finishing it. And the other? Well, they are only good for asking what's for breakfast. I'll work on them though.
