The Bible story the kids and I are reading this week at circle time is David and Goliath. Along with the story we are singing the song Only a Boy Named David.
Today we did a few crafts to go with the story. First we colored the tracing/coloring pages of Goliath.
Then we did their favorite craft of the morning - David puppets.
Later in the morning, I put these little David and Goliath minibooks out for the kids to color if they wanted to. Michael wasn't interested but Lauren and Khristian both wanted to color one.

What neat tracing pages!
ReplyDeleteThanks for following on my blog! I homeschool my 11-year-old son. It's the best decision I've made and my biggest regret is that I waited so long to do it! Thanks again for stopping by my blog--I'm now a follower on GFC and Facebook.
ReplyDeleteadorable craft and your timing is right on! did you know that King David was born and passed away on the Jewish holiday of Shavuos? (Wednesday in Israel, plus Thursday everywhere else) Because of this we try to set aside extra time on the holiday to say the whole book of Tehillim (psalms) if possible. All the best and thanks for sharing on Craft Schooling sunday!
ReplyDeleteAs always - totally adorable how your kids craft and work together - your eldest is a lovely boy!
