Why I Write the Walnut Acre Chronicles

Why do I write The Walnut Acre Daily?

Here are just a few of the reasons.

Because each day is a gift, even it seems like just another routine mundane day.

Because even though we deal daily with an alphabet soup of "diagnosis" (OCD, ADHD, TSC, NVLD, ASD, CP + epilepsy and sleep disorder) we are not defined by these. Instead we hold to Psalm 139:13-17 and Jeremiah 29:11 and John 10:10 knowing that we can live fully in His plan for each of us. And no matter the circumstances we all can do this.

Because there are miracles in the mundane. I want to celebrate these miracles and encourage others to do the same in their own lives so we can celebrate together.

  5. Those are great reasons! Although my reasons differ somewhat, they are in the same vein. I want to commemorate our times and growing as a family. I want to mark my motherhood/parenting journey. I want to share with the world the possibilities. And I enjoy learning from others as well! :)
