Creamy Cucumber Salad

Our one cucumber vine is producing very well and today I picked eight cucumbers. So for dinner this evening I made this yummy Creamy Cucumber Salad. It was delicious so I thought I would share the recipe.

6 - 8 cucumbers, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
2 drops hot pepper sauce

Combine cucumbers and onions in a large bowl. Combine all remaining ingredients; pour over cucumber mixture and mix well. Refrigerate for several hours before serving

  1. Thank you for following my blog! Cucumbers are so delicious this way but I have never added garlic salt or pepper sauce. Must try!

  2. I love fresh cucumber salad...

I've seen so many versions popping up on blogs since summer started.

    Your version sounds delicious.

I hope you can come by Foodie Wednesday again and share it.

  3. This sounds GREAT!! Stopping by from the Delightful Order Linky party!! ;)

  4. Looks really yummy! My favorite is gazpacho when you have a lot of tomatoes, onions, and cucs. I just coarsely chop them and blend half in the blender with salt, pepper, parsley. I drink it in a glass when I am alone but for meals I put it in bowls and serve cold soup on hot days. Thanks for sharing. Vickie

  5. I just love this Cucumber Salad, it would be a winner every time with our group. Thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday and hope to see you next week. Have a great week end!
