The Walnut Acre Daily - Church, A Nice Walk and Family Fun

It has been a very good Sunday even though we lost an hour of sleep last night. I know some people don't like the time change but I'm glad for daylight longer in the evenings.

This morning before we left for church I made a pizza pasta casserole to take along to my sister's after church for lunch. When we came home from church I also made a salad.

After being away from church for three Sundays it was awesome to be back again today. We started a new video series in Sunday School by Andy Stanley called Faith, Hope, and Luck: Discover What You Can Expect from God. It's a five week series and if the rest of the sessions are as good as this first one it's going to be wonderful.

We spent the afternoon with family. After lunch the little ones took naps and the older ones watched movies.

And since it was the first warm sunny day in what feels like forever, and since we had an extra hour ofvdaylight this evening we decided to take advantage of it and go for a walk. We didn't go far but it was so nice to get out and get some fresh air.

When we came back I had to laugh at my dad's little fox statues that look like they are peeking out of the snow to see if the sun and warmth are for real.

Here my younger brother and I are playing checkers (he won) and two of my nieces are coloring.

And now it's time to gear up for another week. I hope it's a wonderful one!
