We practiced our memory verse and sang our theme song for this month. We watched Jesus Loves Me This I Know and drew a picture of Jesus and the Children.

The kids watched Newly Hatched Chicken and made this chick paper craft.

For math time we watched The Counting Chickens and the chicken counting worksheet.
Reading
For our reading lesson today we did -an and at on lesson one of Starfall Learn to Read. We also reviewed our -ad word flashcards and read the Hooked on Phonics book Rag.

In the Kitchen
Michael loved helping opening up the new pressure canner Doug ordered from Amazon for me. We're looking forward to cooking and canning with it.
He was also my helper when I made lunch.

That is a lot of biscuits. What did you end up making?
ReplyDeleteWe both got pressure canners. It should be fun to see what we both turn up. I keep saying I want to pull mine out and use it. I read the instructions, but like anything with an instruction manual - I freeze up and become frightened to use it. :)
