Paper Village

I've been wanting to print the little paper city for the kids to play with and yesterday I finally got it printed and cut out. Older kids could cut it out for themselves but my little group is too young to tackle this type of cutting.

I made each child a set and this morning I got it out for them to play with. One thing I did different than shown in the instructions was to glue the little people onto small popsicle sticks. I thought they would be easier for my gorup of kids to handle that way. I used regular printer paper but I'm sure that thicker paper would be even better.

But they had a lot of fun. I had crayons available for the to decorate their cities if the wanted too but left it up to them.

They had a lot of fun with this paper playset and I'm sure we'll be playing with them more and adding to them.

  1. This looks like it really kept the kids busy. That is awesome! Come and link up with fun for Kids Friday : )

  2. What fun! Thanks for the link! I'm also humored that both of your daughter's outfits are hanging in my daughter's closet. Love Carters :).

  3. What a cute idea! I love seeing all of the kids working hard at the table. I also like how you used popsicle sticks!

Thanks so much for linking up with For the Kids Fridays at Sun Scholars. I can't wait to see what you have to share this week! I'll be posting the next party later tonight. Hope to have you stop by!
