To Be A Shelter

WORDS TO LIVE BY

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
Romans 15:7

TODAY'S QUOTE

I felt it shelter to speak to you. ~ Emily Dickinson

ON MY MIND

The Emily Dickinson quote above is such a beautiful expression of the way should be to each other. I know a couple people like this, people I know I can go to and know they will be there for me. They will speak truth and blessing, pray with me and walk with me. I hope in turn I can be this for others.

ANIMAL UPDATES

All the animals seem to be doing very well. Michael helped me with morning chores today. He fed the dog and helped me pick up apples for the pig and then gave them to her.

AROUND THE HOUSE

I got one loads of laundry done and a load of towels washed and dried but not folded, dishes washed and floors swept. Austin did the daily cleaning in the upstairs bathroom and took out the trash. Amanda did the daily cleaning in the downstairs bathroom.

OUT AND ABOUT

This afternoon Michael and I were at my sister's for a couple hours so she could get out awhile. This evening was church. At choir this evening we got our folders with the music for the Christmas program. We listened to some of the new songs and went over the practice schedule. It's hard to believe it's already almost time to start practicing for this again.

AND MORE

After two days of rainy weather the rain finally stopped today. There were still some clouds but Michael and I enjoyed going for a walk/bike ride.
