WORDS TO LIVE BY
Let the name of the Lord be praised,
Both now and forevermore.
Psalm 113:2
TODAY'S QUOTE
Prayer and praise are the oars by which a man may row his boat into the deep waters of the knowledge of Christ. ~ Charles Spurgeon
IN THE KITCHEN
Amanda made us some delicious chocolate chip cookies to go with dinner this evening. My sister brought us some burritos and grapes and I cooked some broccoli and we had a good dinner.
WORKING TOGETHER
The sun finally came out and Michael slept last night and somehow life just seemed much more doable today.
Sunshine of course meant I wanted to hang laundry out to dry. I also dried a couple loads in the dryer since I got a late start on them.
PLAYING TOGETHER
OUT AND ABOUT
Today was errand day for us but we didn't do a whole lot. We dropped some books off at the library, stopped at the dollar store, got a few groceries at Food Lion and stopped for lunch. We were home by noon which is unusual and was kind of nice!
This evening I took Austin to a friends house to spend the weekend. I'll pick him up Sunday morning on the way to church.

ON MY MIND
Isn't it amazing how worry can erase (in our minds) God's past faithfulness? We are not called to worry but simply to do whatever we know to do today and let God take care of tomorrow. When I realize that God is as comcerned (and more) about me as I am about myself I do not need to waste time worrying because I know I can trust him to take care of me.
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care. And even the hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Matthew 10:29-31
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand -
When I awake, I am still with you.
Psalm 139:17-18
