WORDS TO LIVE BY
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before Him with thanksgiving
and extol Him with music and song.
~ Psalm 95:1-2

WORKING, LEARNING AND PLAYING TOGETHER
This morning at my sister's house we finished our turkey feather headbands (printable pattern for feathers found here). Here the kids are showing off their handiwork. Aren't they a good looking bunch?
We also read stories and played games both there and here at home.
Here are some of the games and books we enjoyed today.
IN THE KITCHEN
Kitchen work was pretty simple this morning. For breakfast we had whole pocketless pita breads with sausage gravy (leftover from earlier this week) and blueberries. For lunch we had baked chicken leftover from yesterday's dinner, blueberries and apple slices. This evening we had dinner at church - turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, rolls, cranberry salad and pumpkin pie. It was SO good!
ON MY MIND
This evening at church we watched a video called Why Worry by Andy Stanley. This video is the first of a three part series and so worth the time to watch. The bottom line is there is no reason to worry when we have a Heavenly Father who loves us so much more than the birds and flowers He feeds and clothes. There is so much in this message that I would really encourage everyone to watch it and realize the futility of worry and how much worry robs us of the true life He wants us to have.
