WORDS TO LIVE BY
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
~ Colossians 3:15
WORKING, LEARNING AND PLAYING TOGETHER
Today has been long and busy, but in a good way.
We put together a puzzle . . .
. . . played games . . .
. . . colored a T is for Turkey coloring page . . .
. . . served up some alphabet soup . . .
. . . read stories . . .
. . . built with mega blocks . . .
. . . and played with cars and trucks.
Here are some of the games, books and other activities we enjoyed today. The first two books are books I read with Austin and Amanda as part of their Bible and English work. The other activities were done with the younger kids.
IN THE KITCHEN
For breakfast we had cereal with milk, and bananas. Amanda made lunch and she made Chicken Noodle Bake, lima beans and applesauce. For dinner this evening we had hotdogs with whole wheat buns, baked potato wedges and oranges.
OTHER
Yesterday I shared some photos of my dad's workshop and some of things he has built there. Here is another of his creations that he recently finished and now it is waiting for a new home.
