ON MY MIND

I've been amazed many times, and reminded again recently, of the freedom and peace that comes from relying on and resting in His Presence. Truly where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom - freedom from anxiety, from depression, from condemnation. Not that those things never touch my life, they definitely do. But they do not rule me. I am not a slave to those feelings and emotions because in Him I am free. 

ANIMAL UPDATES

Miss Piggy is getting very demanding and sometimes loud while she waits for me to pick up her bucket of apples in the mornings. The bunnies are just quietly grateful for their food.

OUT AND ABOUT

This evening was the final evening of revival meetings at our church with Brian Wills. It's been an amazing few days and I'm sorry it's over. But the good thing is that even though revival meetings are over, the God who brings revival never leaves us.

YARD AND GARDEN

I was so happy that we got some rain this evening. The gardens are going to love it!

Michael looks so serious here! I guess writing the word 'pond' is important stuff.

WORKING TOGETHER

We got a lot of work done today. Austin took care of the outside animals both morning and evening. He also completed a lot of the cleaning jobs on our monthly housecleaning list (everything he could do on the weekly list was already done). 

Amanda took care of the inside animals and made lunch, washed dishes, did the vacuuming, cleaned the downstairs bathroom, cleaned her room and did her laundry. 

I did five loads of laundry, gave both boys haircuts, and did some cleaning upstairs, dishwashing, cooking, and schoolwork with the kids. I also did the midday care of the animals. 

When Doug came home from work this evening he worked in the garage for awhile. He's working on fixing a pressure washer for a friend.

OUT AND ABOUT

Michael and I went to Food Lion this morning to get a few things. This afternoon Amanda and Michael went to my sister's for a few hours. They went for a walk and then Amanda helped with some things there and Michael played with the kids.
