WORDS TO LIVE BY
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

TODAY'S QUOTE
The greatest tribute we can give to Jesus is to go after everything He has for us because it cost Him everything. ~ Brian Wills
ON MY MIND
I was looking through the book of Ephesians today and was a little surprised how many descriptions of the way life in Jesus should be.
Here's a list of some of the things I found.
Ephesians 1:3 - We are blessed with every spiritual gift.
Ephesians 1:4-5 - We have been chosen!
Ephesians 1:7 - We are redeemed and forgiven.
Ephesians 1:18 - We have a glorious inheritance.
Ephesians 2:5 - We are made alive.
Ephesians 2:10 - We are God's handiwork, created to do good.
Ephesians 2:19 - We are fellow citizens with God's people and members of His household.
Ephesians 3:16 - We are strengthened with His power.
Ephesians 3:17-19 - We are rooted and established in love.
Ephesians 5:8-10 - We live in light and bear goodness, righteousness and truth.
Ephesians 6:10 - 17 - We have no need to fear any evil for we wear the full armor of God.
Wow!!!!
Doesn't this make you just want to live with abandon, knowing Jesus has given us such abundant life?

IN THE KITCHEN
This was our delicious dinner this evening - chicken, potatoes, and carrots. My cousin, Ericka, who is staying with my sister to help her, made it and brought it too us.
OUT AND ABOUT
Today was errand day for us. We went to Sharp Shopper, Sheetz, the vets office for Pepper's monthly medication, Kmart, Walmart, McDonald's and Food Lion.
Our day started out really good but by the time we got to Walmart it was starting to be not quite so good. Michael was nearing the end of his patience with shopping and the shirts I had looked forward to buying all week were nowhere to be found. But we did find some other good bargains. Then Michael needed a bathroom break. After we left the bathrooms and were halfway across the store I realized I didn't have my wallet and phone. I knew I must have set them down in the bathroom and forgotten to pick them up so I nearly ran back to the bathroom. They were not where I had seen them last and I started feeling sick. On my way back out I met a lady I had held the door for earlier and asked her if she had seen them. "Oh I thought they were that lady's" she said, pointing to a woman standing nearby. So I asked the other lady and she said "Oh they weren't mine, I put them back." Then she showed me where they were. I thanked her and went to find Michael and Austin. But as I walked I checked inside my wallet and realized the $80 cash that had been in there was gone. I thought about going back and finding the two women and confronting them but decided it wasn't worth it. I had no proof they took it, and they were probably gone anyway. I was grateful none of my cards were taken. Mostly I was just mad at myself for leaving my things in the first place. And, frustrating as it was, I couldn't help but think how blessed I am and how miserable it must be to feel the need to take someone else's money.

AND MORE
This evening Doug and Austin started the job of putting new brake pads and ball joints on the van. They didn't get it finished so they're planning to work on it tomorrow.
