Walking With the King
Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you witll carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 1:6

Outdoor Fun
We didn't go for a walk or spend much time in the garden today but the kids do go outside and play.

We Are Learning
We had more dinosaur fun today. We read the same book again today that we read yesterday . . .

. . . watched this video . . .

. . . played the Dinosaur Life Cycle Game . . .

. . . and made some paper plate flying dinosaurs.

We Are Reading
Here are the books the kids chose for me to read to them today.

Care Bears Caring Contest

Diving Dolphin

Lion King 2: Simba's Pride

Just Imagine with Barney

Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?

and
The 12 Bugs of Christmas

In the Kitchen
We had grits, sausage and blackberries for breakfast this morning. It had been a long time since we had grits and I found out a lot of the kids here now really don't like it very well.

Amanda fixed macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets and corn for lunch. This morning I put a pork roast, potatoes, onions and carrots in the slow cooker and also made two loaves of bread. Those along with applesauce was dinner this evening.

Out and About
When Doug got home from work this evening he took Austin and Michael with him and went to get a lawnmower that someone asked him to work on.

Other Notes and News
CJ has been busy today in all his spare time working on a the tables he's building for his room.

  1. Good evening~

It sounds like you all had a wonderful day. I miss ready to my children as they are all grown now and two are married and gone. However, I am waiting for the day when the Lord blesses us with grandchildren and I will once again be ready to little ones.

Your pictures are so sweet and the children are beautiful! :D

    Blessings~
