Our bird related activity was making simple little feeders for the birds. We strung honeynut cheerios onto beading cord and then tied the ends together.
This picture amused me because both boys were concentrating so hard they were sticking their tongues out.
Working with all those cheerios made the kids hungry so we took a snack break before we took the completed strings outside.
Austin hung all the strings in the trees.
Now we're waiting for the birds, or maybe the squirrels, to come enjoy the feast.
