This week we've been reading The Magic Schoolbus Plants Seeds. The kids have enjoyed the book and we found some fun activities to do along with it.
There are a number of insects in the book and we some crafts related to those insects.
On Monday we made butterflies. I printed these butterfly templates and then used one to trace and cut out construction paper wings for the kids to glue on.
Wednesday the kids colored these flower garden minibooks.
Thursday we colored ladybug coloring pages. . . .
. . . . and made ladybug papercrafts.
Friday we colored these flower pictures . . .
. . . also glued together these plant papercrafts, talking about the different parts of the plant as we glued them together.
It's been a fun week learning about seeds and flowers.
