Christmas Play: The Walnut Acre Daily - Sunday, December 22, 2013

My sister has been working hard with a group of kids for the last few weeks getting ready for a Christmas play. This morning was the play and it was beautiful!                               

From the opening songs . . .

. . . to the Christmas story and manger scene . . . 

. . . to the song interpretive dance and the song Mary Did You Know? . . .

. . . to the closing songs of worship and final Merry Christmas . . .

. . . it was a truly beautiful blessing!

The Walnut Acre Daily - It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

It's been pretty busy around here but I wanted to do a quick update and share some photos. 

After some last minute shopping and lots of wrapping it's beginning to look like Christmas is right around the corner.

This morning Austin and Michael were in a Christmas play in my parents church that my sister directed. It was beautiful and the kids did a wonderful job. Here are some photos I was able to get. I didn't get one of the actual manger scene because of the lighting and I was in the wrong place to get a good shot. But I love the photos I did get. 

So that's a quick little update. The next couple days will be really busy but I'll try to pop in here and update.
