TODAY'S QUOTE

God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame. ~ Elizabeth Barrett Browning

YARD AND GARDEN

The last few days I've been working on trying to find the tomato plants in the middle of this weed patch! I'm not done yet but it's coming along. Austin and I put in a few tomato cages but I need a lot more!

WORKING, LEARNING, AND PLAYING TOGETHER

Just a few pictures of the kids playing together. The last few days have been very laid back and calm.

OUT AND ABOUT

We've had three appointments in the last three days. Austin had dentist appointments Tuesday and Wednesday and then this morning Michael had a neurologist appointment. Michael's appointment went well. He's doing good and the only thing we really needed to do were a few minor medication tweaks.  Michael has been going to Bible School in the evenings at my dad's church and really enjoying it. I had choir practice yesterday in the evening. That is my little midweek break.

  1. It's amazing with all the weeds that the gardens still manage to produce. We can get so busy with our daily lives we can never get in the garden some days.
Seems like one can never have enough tomato cages. I was lucky enough to find some at an estate sale this year. Last year I found four along the side of the road. I have been known to use strong sticks and tie them with pantyhouse to keep them up!

Your girls look like they are having a great time together.

    Have a great day!

    1. I'm thinking I'm going to have use stakes and something to tie the tomatoes up with too. I don't have any old pantyhose so I'll have to figure something else out.

The girls were having a great time playing together but I joked that it looked like their was a Barbie explosion!

  2. I love how you just shared your life with us. You seemed to sum up summer time so well. I used to grow tomatoes and loved everything about it especially eating them. Good luck! Thank you for visiting my blog.
