IN THE KITCHEN
We were busy in the garden today so for breakfast and lunch we just ate cereal, sandwiches and fruit.
For dinner this evening I made Spaghetti Carbonara, Salad and served pineapple with it. The Spaghetti Carbonara was a new dish for us and we really liked it.
YARD AND GARDEN
We finally got some of the garden planted today. First Doug, Michael and Tylese made some wooden markers to go at the ends of the rows.
Then I planted and they marked the rows. Doug also helped cover some of the rows. I planted Green Beans, Lima Beans, Kale, Swiss Chard, Mustard Greens, Collards, Carrots, Turnips, Radishes, Lettuce, Cauliflower, Cabbage, and Kohlrabi. That filled the one garden area and I'll work on the second area next week. I still have a lot of things I want to plant and I'm fast running out of room.
PLAYING TOGETHER
There was a lot of playing today. They played ball, played on the tire swing, ran around the yard, and climbed on the monkey bars. They also had a picnic lunch at the new to us table our neighbor gave us today.
OUT AND ABOUT
The only thing I had to go out and do today was pick up a couple prescriptions.
