Circle Dog Craft

In keeping with our dog theme this week we did this dog craft this morning. As we put the craft together we talked about circles and the colors red, gray, white and black. We also did an alphabet dot to dot dog and colored it.

Here are the finished masterpieces. I love the "expressions" on these faces.

Cute Carrot Puppets

We are really enjoying this week's books The Carrot Seed by Ruth Krauss and Curious George: The Perfect Carrot.

Today we made this silly little carrot craft and turned it into a puppet by glueing it to a popsicle stick.

The kids had so much fun with it.

Moses and the Ten Commandments

This weeks Bible Story is The Story of Moses and the Ten Commandments. Along with this story we've been reading the Ten Commandments Rhyme and singing the Ten Commandments Song.

On Tuesdays at craft time we try to do a Bible craft related to the Bible story of the week. This week we made Ten Commandment Magnets. I used this color template of the Ten Commandments. I cut it out and then traced a foam back just a little larger than the cut out. We glued these together and added Magnetic tape to the back.

We also had these coloring pagesfrom DLTK Bible available to color.

It turned out to be another simple but fun activity.
