Slow Cooker Beans and Bacon

1 lb bacon, fried, drained and diced
1 lg (52 ounce) can or 3 small (16 ounce) cans kidney beans
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 Tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground mustard

Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from heat and drain.

In slow cooker, combine beans, crushed tomatoes, chopped pepper and onion, brown sugar, molasses, worcestershire sauce, salt and ground mustard.

Dice cooled bacon and add to the bean mixture.

Cover and cook on low for 6 - 7 hours.

I made this for the first time yesterday and served it with cornbread and it was delicious! My husband wanted some for his lunch today.
